Lots of Love from Fei-Fei Stuff and a Recommended Read

I was relaxing on one of the comfortable Muskoka chairs at the beach reading an ebook and checking my emails when I received an email regarding a new release from Fei-Fei’s Stuff. Too bad, I was on a trip and I only have my netbook with me which has no graphic designing program because of its limited memory. I only use it for surfing the Net, blogging and reading e-books so I missed the chance of playing with this new element pack before being released.

Anyway, here is the new product that I am talking about:

Lots of Love by Fei-Fei's Stuff
In t

his cute element pack called Lots of Love, you will find 9 doodles in colored and plain versions. Price is $2.99. Just click on the preview to shop.

By the way, here is the book that has kept me away from the water during our trip to the beach:

The Shadow of the Wind
I had a hard time putting this book down. In fact, I only spent around 30 minutes on the water because I wanted to finish this book right away. Anyway, a short summary of the book:

The novel, set in post–Spanish Civil War Barcelona, concerns a young boy, Daniel Sempere. Just after the war, Daniel's father takes him to the secret Cemetery of Forgotten Books, a huge library of old, forgotten titles lovingly preserved by a select few initiates. According to tradition, everyone initiated to this secret place is allowed to take one book from it, and must protect it for life. Daniel selects a book called The Shadow of the Wind by Julián Carax.

That night he takes the book home and reads it, completely engrossed. Daniel then attempts to look for other books by this unknown author, but can find none. All he comes across are stories of a strange man – calling himself Laín Coubert, after a character in the book who happens to be the Devil – who has been seeking out Carax's books for decades, buying them all and burning them. ~ Wikipedia

The Shadow of the Wind is one great read and I highly recommend it! And

I thank my friends Kaje and Joy for encouraging me to read this.
