I have finally gave in to the pressure and joined the craze called Instagram. My friend, Diane, has been bugging me to create an account and post photos. Since the iPod that I own is 3G and has no camera feature, using instagram can be a chore. But then, as experienced taught us, peer pressure is so hard to resist! Hahaha! Once I learned how to download photos from my Flickr account and blogs, there was no way stopping. This afternoon, I have finally figured out how I can post current photos using my camera’s phone.
Anyway, what is Instagram? According to its official website:
Instagram is a fun & quirky way to share your life with friends through a series of pictures. Snap a photo with your iPhone, then choose a filter to transform the look and feel of the shot into a memory to keep around forever. We’re building the platform to allow you to experience moments in your friends’ lives through pictures as they happen. We imagine a world more connected through images of what happens around them – whether through friends or people across the world.
The application is free and it is perfect not only for sharing photos but also when you are completing the Project 365. Try it!
