A Joyful Sunday

Hello there! How was your {i}DSD weekend? Did you go shopping? Well, I did! That’s after a long time of being a good girl and not buying a single kit (just hoarding freebies. LOL!) As of this moment, I only spent $4! Woot! Unfortunately, I can’t seem to download large files properly. I don’t know what the problem is. DH promised to help me download them tomorrow while I find out what the problem is. Oh well.

Anyway, today, we attended the baptism of my newest godson, Jose Joaquin. He is such an adorable little boy! His parents (and all of us!) have waited for him for so long! And today, we welcomed him to the Christian world. It was a nice and simple gathering of friends. We shared a sumptuous lunch over their house and boy, I was so full! Just a little side story: During our high school days, Marijo’s (Joaquin’s mom) place was our hang out. Their house is big, same with their lawn which is full of mango trees. I remember those days when as early as November (her birth month actually), outdoor lights filled those trees, welcoming the joyous season of all – Christmas!

I believe that this year, their Christmas will be more special with arrival of their little bundle of joy. Surely, Marijo and Joel can’t wait to prepare their house for Joaquin’s first Christmas.
