Aside from being too lazy to think creatively, this kept me busy:

 

 

It’s a super fun read and I think my most favorite so far. I am done with the first two and this one is the best. But that’s just me! I already read parts of the fourth book in a my favorite cafe but of course, I could not finish it in one sitting. And nope, no one is allowed to take it home. ;) But this time, I am going to finish this one. It’s funny and hilarious but at the same time, enlightening. It is so funny to be able to relate to Becky *sometimes*. Haha! So I am now more conscious of my buying habit. It is indeed wise to save up for the rainy days. We have been saving but we are still looking for ways to earn from our savings. We decided to open a time deposit account instead of investing on a business like  coffee franchises. I don’t think we are ready to take a risk as big as that. But there’s more to learn and time to save more so wish us luck!

BFS and Cookies for Kids

Are you through with your Black Friday Sale shopping? Have you bought that gadget, kitchenware, clothes, bags, MBT shoes, accessories or furniture that you’ve been eyeing for a long time? I am proud to say that I did not spend a single centavo today for a digikit! Yay! I am back to saving up for a DSLR, that’s why. I will later share why. ;) However, I did spend around $17 for make-up! Some online friends shared a link and since there were free stuff, I tried it (added some few stuff though) but I think it’s worth it. I just hope that the package will arrive soon, before my Christmas break begins.

No Layout, No Digishopping

I have not done any digiscrapping in the past week nor any digishopping, in case you’re interested to know. ;) I am too tired because of my daytime work. Aargh… And no, the *party* is not over yet. Various activities for me and the students are lined up up to the day that I’ve already left for my Christmas break. Haha! Anyway, Monday next week is going to be a holiday and I already looking forward to a long weekend of digiscrapping and blogging and reading my ebooks.

Speaking of ebooks, I am still longing for a handy gadget where I can read them. There is this one particular story that I can’t finish just yet (about the exciting life of a Washington DC dentist). You can’t see me lugging this big laptop just to finish the story while commuting for work, no sir! :D Anyways, there will be shopping done next month though I can’t decide yet which MP4/MP5 player to buy. Yay!

Felicidad

Hello! Hello! I know I have been slacking in my digital scrapbooking (well, that’s not something new anymore! Haha!) But this time, I have a very valid reason – I AM STRESSED! Yes I am and I am not saying that just to get off the hook. I really am tired and pressured with loads of office stuff, that my new planner did not cheer me up. It finally arrived and I hope to share it with you once I get around taking photos of it. Anyways, I am just here to tell you that Shaui got a new set of doodles at her shop here. 1. Do you have a job? If so, what do you do?
:: During the day, I work as a student affairs practitioner. I deal with student leaders, I make their business my business. Hehe. I am also involved in student discipline in the campus. That’s what I like least about my job.

2. If you don’t have a job, is it related to this crappy economy? What’s next for you?
:: Maybe! Haha! We train the future leaders and businessmen of the country. What’s next for me? I really don’t know. More opportunities to bring out the best in people, especially students, perhaps?

3. Do you see any upsides to quitting a job or being laid off? If so, what are they? If not, why not?
:: I always believe that when God closes a door, He opens a bigger door. Quitting or being laid off is not the end of the world – it’s a good opportunity to start anew.

Moments and Stamp Frames

So I finally shared my *toot* and shared a layout which used the following kits here.

  

 

I got those stamp frames

some months back. They are totally versatile and unique. I know I am a fan of frames and this set is a staple, I know that I will be using it over and over again.

On the other hand, the Moments kit is packed of goodies which are so Shaui – unique, versatile, simple and elegant. I want our car cover to look like the pink and swirly floral paper in this kit, that’s if we have a car! I

have her other first kits (and I need to put them into good use, I know! LOL!) and she is just getting better! Way to go girl!

Toot! Toot!

While I was busy chatting with Liz, an email arrived at my inbox. Upon reading it, I was so ecstatic and joyful that I had to wake my husband up just to relay the story. I was jumping like a crazy kid so while typing my reply, I was literally breathless. Haha! I also shared the email with Liz and she thought that it was cool. Mai was telling about a her own toot on our twitter chat room and so was Yen. But the three of us did not mention what those toots were. Mai finally shared hers yesterday. I don’t know when Yen’s going to share hers. My toot? Hmm… Allow me to show this to you first:

Well that, my friend is my first layout as Shaui’s FeiFei Stuff Creative Team member! Yay! Her email last Sunday was a an invitation to join her uber talented team. It was encouraging and inspiring and who am I to refuse, right? So I said yes and well, there goes my toot! :)

I am so excited not only because this will help me get out of the scrapping rut where I’ve been for a long time, but because I will be working with a very kind and inspiring woman. She really has ways of awakening the sleeping artists in us and even motivate us to scrap outside our comfort zones and try new ways.

Meaningful Beauty

I always think of myself as beautiful. Haha! But seriously, I sometimes feel ugly.
