Errands

My errand list for today is a bit long. However, I was stranded at one of the offices that I visited today because some gay friends were there. When they’re around, it is really difficult to say good bye! In fact, a friend had to call us through the phone to remind us that they were waiting for us at the other office. Haha! There was no time for me to do the rest of my errands so I had to check by phone if the payment I have been expecting was already deposited to my account. It’s negative, the banker told me. So I will try again tomorrow.

Tired.

My Facebook status today indicates “is tired. So tired. Of being beautiful.”. This elicited various comments that made me laugh. But honestly, I just feel tired. We’ve been working like there’s no tomorrow since the month started. Good thing everything is over now, work-wise, that is since our Christmas break started today. But I still need to prepare for our trip tomorrow. No pasalubongs bought yet. Even our clothes are not ready yet. I contacted our cleaning/ laundry lady so she came today to make my life easier. She did not only washed our laundry, she even cleaned the entire house, the small backyard and the stainless steel drums where we store water for laundry. She also received her Christmas bonus so she went home happy.

Our flight will be early afternoon so expect I expect to be doing my Wonder Woman stunts once again since DH booked early because of work. I will definitely do our packing of things tonight as we need to visit the groceries tomorrow to buy some local delicacies as pasalubongs. I was hoping to bring some crabs too but my supplier informed me that they have no supply. It’s the season to party and eat foods that are high in cholesterol!

Anyway, these too shall pass. And I will get my much-needed rest very soon. Yay!

Another Busy Week

Hello! It’s been a while, I know. And as always, real life concerns get in the way of blogging.

Last Monday, my mom and I went to Davao for a transaction and we stayed in a very nice hotel. Our room reminded me of the orlando hotel rooms I saw online. The accommodation and food were great too. Hopefully, next time around, I will be with my family so my daughter can enjoy the place. Anyway, we went home yesterday afternoon and after taking a bath and changing my clothes, I proceeded to the university to attend our Christmas party. It was not as fun as last year’s but I was sure happy to be surrounded by old and new friends alike. The cash gift was bigger too so everyone went home happy too!
