Sunday Freebie Hunting

It’s been a while since we did a freebie hunt on this blog and that’s what I just did. I was hoping that we could watch together an episode or two of CSI but the husband was busy looking for step by step instructions on how to repair leather furniture online as his office chair suffered from some few tears. I told him to just bring it to the experts to be repaired but he’s quite sure that he can do it on his own.

So anyway, here are the freebies! I hope you like them. Please take note though that all require Facebook “Like” in order to download the freebies. Enjoy!

Love + Grace: A Collaborative Kit

Love + Grace

Let me share with you a collaborative kit called Love + Grace, dedicated to Grace Katherine Webster and her mom, Erica (pne123).

On December 11th, Grace (7 yrs old) went home to fly with the angels in Heaven, after having a seizure. Grace spent her life fighting a seizure-causing brain tumor, a condition called, Hypothalamic Hamartoma. But HH did not define her, she was a happy, sunshiny little girl, who brought much happiness to her family and those who fell in love with her through Erica's stories and scrapbook pages.

Our hearts hurt for Erica and her family… this kit is just a small way to let them know how much Grace has touched our lives and that we continue to wrap them up in love and prayers.

This beautiful kit is available is created by a number of generous and talented designers and it is available at the Lilypad for only $10. All proceeds will be donated to HopeForHH.org.

Cloud Storage Reviews

As a digital scrapbooker and official memory keeper of our family, I take more than a thousand photos every year. I photograph not only our family’s photos but also of the family tradition we follow, people we love, the places we visit and the food we like. I capture what and who matters to us because they are worth remembering and valuable to us as a family.

One unimaginable thing that could happen to these precious keepsakes is losing them. Because we now live in a digital world and most of us are not printing our photos anymore, it is very likely that we take precautions to keep them secure and safe. There are various ways of safekeeping and making back up of our files. We can store them into external hard disks and DVDs. Also, we can avail of online storages which is a very wise thing to do.

I came across some cloud storage reviews recently and one thing that I like about them is that the reviews provided updated reviews and rankings. They are ranked according to price, security, reliability, ease of use, control panel and customer support. I deem that these are primary considerations when selecting cloud storage services for your valuable documents, photos, music and many others. The very simplistic approach of the reviews is convenient for those who are looking for cloud storage options. It provides mainly what the companies offer and the reader can very easily choose which one fits his needs and his pocket. It is highly recommended that people looking for cloud storage services read such reviews prior to making decisions on which service to avail.

Indulging

Aiming to get my scrapping mojo back, I planned to start on some layouts last night. I opened my laptop and connected it to my super brand new LED TV (woot!), opened my Photoshop AND Facebook account and wahlah – I was not even able to open a new canvass to work on. Haha! I had a grand time exchanging notes and tips with some new friends that I slept really late without starting any layout. And not having enough sleep, I think, is what triggered my mild headache this morning. I informed my husband about it and he told me to take my medicines and eat good food. He said that I can even indulge and shop for cheesecake online at Shari's if that will make me feel better. Hahaha! He’s really sweet. He knows that good and delectable food can make the ouchies go away and the grouchy feel happy. I would love to indulge, yes, but maybe during the weekend when the husband is home. Food tastes better when shared with those you love, right? Right. :)
